On the Northeast Corridor Line, there were no longer any GG-1 or Metroliner trains to be seen.Short-distance trains were replaced by AEM-7 electric locomotives and Amfleet passenger cars.Long-distance trains such as Silver Meteor and Silver Star areE60CP+Old Streamline passenger cars were the mainstream.
I discovered this photo of SW1 and RDC while visiting Conrail Cedarhill Yard in Connecticut.It seems that it has already been removed from the register and is waiting to be transferred to a resale destination.
