In stereolithography 3D printers, a transparent FEP film (hereinafter referred to as FEP) is placed on the bottom of the vat that holds the UV resin liquid. This FEP is exposed to various types of ultraviolet rays, hardened into the desired shape, and then stacked.
As you use it, FEP will start to wear out.If you're unlucky, it will break. If it is torn, has scratches that affect print quality, or is cloudy enough to reduce the light output, replace it with a new one. This is what the bat looked like before replacement.
I couldn't see it at a glance, but there was a small hole and the liquid was leaking. It was badly damaged so I replaced it.It is easy to remove, just loosen it all with a hexagonal screwdriver, etc. and peel it off.Lots of screws (lol)
This is a new FEP film sent from overseas (China).
It is sold exclusively for DLP. The thickness of FEP film seems to be about 0.15-0.2mm.Before stretching, peel off the protective stickers on both sides of the film, place it between the two inner metal frames, and tighten the screws.Just tighten it enough so that it doesn't twist. After this, attach it to the outer frame of the bat. It's well made, and when you tighten this screw, the film becomes a pin.All that's left to do is cut out the protruding part of the film.
The FEP film is also new and clean. It looks like it will print easily.we areAnycubic PhotonAlthough it is a series, I think other companies' products are similar. It looks like it could be done with saran wrap (lol)
